This Chardonnay is a harmonious blend of light toasted oak and fruit flavors, with a hint of cream and oak that perfectly complements the grapes. We sourced these delicious grapes from renowned Napa Valley & safely shipped directly to our winery here Wilkesboro, NC.
Our 2017 Sparkling Sweet Traminette is a keg-conditioned white traminette wine with a splash of tropical fruit on top of a juicy early-harvest acidity. Our signature mead that serves as the base for all our creations. Made using the over-wintering method ancestrale technique, it features local raw honey stirred by hand daily and fermented dry. The result is a golden honey mead with notes of wild Appalachian wildflowers and yeast, providing a unique bouquet that sets the foundation for all our meads. Ancestral has 14% ABV.
Notes of crisp apple, pear, and peach are strengthened by a robust malic acid backbone. Contains sulfites.
Notes of dark cherry, black pepper, smoke, and leather. This handmade artisanal wine was aged in a blend of American and French oak and made in collaboration with 7-string Gypsy flamenco guitarist Vadim Kolpakov.
A wild spontaneous fermented funky rose, enjoy the latest of our Funky Ferments series!
Blackberry and cassis fruit with a black pepper finish, fermented with American oak for 1 month and transferred to neutral French oak for 1 year after cold settling without clarification or filtration. These grapes tie us to where my Yaya grew up playing in empty castles. As a child, I visited her hometown where the castle stood in golden fields of wheat. She told me of the proud people there who held out amidst the gravity of a totalitarian era; the shops once filled with cured meats, fermented olives, and sheep cheese, the annual fill of her plucked-feather bed, and the scythe cutting of the fields on a sunny summer day. This wine is a dedication to her heritage and shared family memories held dear to my heart.
42.5% Syrah, 37.5% Tempranillo, 15% Grenache, 5% Carignan.
